Urgent Need!

Shift(s) Description:
– M-W-F 6:30 – 3:00 T-Th 7:00 – 3:30, but will stay later if help is needed in non-cardiac cases or the cardiac case is not finished.
– No call
– No weekends

We are looking for a Perm provider in their Cardiac Anesthesia department!
– Growing hospital cardiac surgery program
– Trauma Level II
– Practice Setting (Pain Management Clinic/Surgical Center/Hospital Based): Hospital based. On rare occasions may need to oversee CRNAs at the ASC if no cardiac cases are scheduled and a physician is needed at the ASC location.
– Documentation System/EMR: Cerner – moving to -EPIC in 2 years. Some paper
– Average Number of Surgical Cases Per Day: Cardiac surgeries 1/day – but not every day at this point. 5-7 general cases/day. Must help cover general if no cardiac cases.
– Number of Anesthesiologists in Practice: 6
– Patient Age Demographic: (Adolescent, Child, Adult, Geriatric): All. Very sick children are sent to other hospitals better staffed/equipped for children.
Number of Operating Rooms: 8 in use at one time
– Cannot accept visa candidates
– Will not sponsor J1 candidates
– Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 8 – 12 weeks

Compensation:
– The total package is $575,000 (salary + benefits).

– Board Certified
– TEE Certified (must be able to read, interpret, and bill TEE procedures – NOT just the placement of the probe) – Required
– IA License – HIGHLY PREFERRED (Willing to accept providers needing state license, IMLC accepted)
– IA CSR – REQUIRED
– DEA – REQUIRED
– Cardiac Fellowship
– BLS, ACLS, PALS: REQUIRED
– COVID vaccine – Required
