SE Texas – Surgery Center – PRN Position

PRN Position at Surgery Center in Southeastern Texas
Less than an hour from South Padre Island

Work Details:
· Support staff: CRNA
· Amount of coverage needed per month: As needed
· Patients per day: 8-16
· Patient population/age: 6 mo -86 y/o
· Department description: Ear, nose & throat 2 x week/ spine cases 2x week / ortho 2-3x week
· EMR: paper
· Hospital bed size: 1 OR ASC – 2 pre-op / 3 PACU beds
· Special procedures:
· Skills required: Intubations/ Regional blocks
Facility procedures: Lumbar/Cervical Spine decompression, hemi-discectomy , total discectomy, knee & shoulder arthroscopies
Practice Setting:
• Ambulatory Surgery Center
Requirements:
· Board Certification: CRNA – yes
· License required: CRNA – Yes
· DEA: No
· Certifications preferred:
· Certifications required: ACLS/ BLS/ PALS
· Minimum experience required: 3-5 years
