Per Diem CRNA needed in Grayling, MI – 8/24, 10/13, 10/16

Occasional and recurring per diem needed for vacation coverage. Group seeks to establish continuity with the ideal per diem candidate. Desirable outdoor enthusiast destination; located just one hour East of Traverse City (nearest airport), off major HWY 75 and on the banks of the AuSable River. As a positive indicator, this cohesive group has achieved remarkably high retention and stability.

Munson Healthcare Grayling serves a seven-county region, with 48 inpatient beds and a skilled nursing/long term care unit. Health specialties include anesthesiology, emergency medicine, endocrinology, family practice, general surgery, internal medicine, obstetrics & gynecology, orthopedics, pathology, pediatrics, radiology, urology, allergy, cardiology, ophthalmology, podiatry, rehabilitation, and sleep disorder medicine.

Job Summary
• Munson Healthcare Grayling Hospital https://www.munsonhealthcare.org/grayling
• Hospital licensed for 71 beds: currently 48 inpatient beds
• 3 ORs, 1 Endo Suite, 1 C-Section OR
• OR hours– 7 am to 5 pm – CRNAs take no call
• Care-team model – Physician provide medical direction and take all call
• Annual surgical volume: General 2,251; Endo 1,034; Ob 265
• Case mix includes general, OB/gyn, ortho, urology, ophthalmology
• No cardiac, major vascular, or trauma (level 2), nearest trauma center in Traver City
• A regional anesthesia program with state-of-the-art ultrasound- U/S blocks skills a must
• 6-bed ICU – Hospitalists staffed
