Nocturnist Position is 1 week on, 2 weeks off – total of 17 weeks per year is FULL TIME

Buffalo Niagara Anesthesia and Kaleida Health are proud to announce an opening on our BNA Team to work at Kaleida Health as a Nocturnist.

This is an exceptional opportunity to join a growing anesthesiology team. The openings are at Buffalo General Medical Center and/or Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital, both located in the Buffalo, NY area.

This is a full time, employed Nocturnist Anesthesiologist position with a competitive salary based on experience and generous incentives. We have a full complement of medical and surgical sub-specialty service lines to support our growing healthcare system. This position offers comprehensive anesthesia services dedicated to the highest standards of excellence in patient care.

Opportunity Highlights/Qualified Candidates:

-Work 17 weeks per year – 1 week on, 2 weeks off
-In House Position: 7 p.m. – 7 a.m. (Monday through Sunday)
-84 hours during in-house call week; 1,428 annual hours
-Compensation: $421,260 annually (effectively $295/hr.)
-General Anesthesiologist capable of attending their own cases and comfortable with C-sections.
-No Trauma, no cranis, no cardiac.
-Only urgent & emergent cases after 7 p.m.
-Will have another anesthesiologist in-house covering L&D (labor epidurals and airway emergencies)

Opportunity to voluntarily work on weeks off for additional compensation.

Qualifications:

-BE/BC Anesthesiologist
-Physician MD/DO licensed in New York or eligible for medical licensure in New York
