Crouse Hospital is located in Syracuse, New York Crouse Hospital offers a variety of cases and sites, centrally located within a one block radius from one another. Crouse includes the main hospital and 3 ASC’s. You will find a collegial anesthesia environment as well as supportive working relationships with the surgeons and OR staff. Excellent Anesthesia Tech support and Pre-Op Testing Center. Syracuse is a medium-sized metropolitan area with restaurants, events, shopping, bars, and casinos. Outdoor lovers will enjoy nearby boating and fishing, hiking, mountain biking, skiing, and golf. Short drive to the Adirondack Mountains, Thousand Islands, and Finger Lakes wine region. Major universities such as Syracuse University and Upstate Medical University. CRNA’s are encouraged to work to full scope including regional anesthesia.

General, GYN, Bariatrics, Robotics, Ortho, Spine, Crani’s, Thoracic, Vascular, Urology/Renal, ENT, Eyes, Plastics, Podiatry, Endo, EP/Cath Lab, Healthy Peds

Shifts
Current open shifts are 8, 10, and 12 hour shifts. Call is voluntary and not required. Post-call day off. Additional pay for call is offered.

Responsibilities
– Pre-anesthesia assessment
– Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
– Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
– Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
– Monitoring of the patient’s physiological condition
– Performance of clinical intervention as needed

Requirements
– Current license as a registered professional nurse
– Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
– Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists

Total Rewards
– Salary: $290K annually
