Locums CRNA needed March 1- early October

• CRNAs enjoy a high level of respect and full autonomy
• We run three rooms (2 ORs and 1 endo suite) daily
• We provide anesthesia for general, ENT, and orthopedic surgeons as well as OB-GYNs, dentists, and podiatrists.
• We will support the ICU with intubations and central line placement if needed.
• We provide anesthesia for healthy peds (mainly 4-5 year olds for dental restoration) and everything in-between.
• Most of our patients are an ASA 2 or 3 (high rates of diabetes, ESRD, and uncontrolled hypertension).
• Most patients with severe comorbidities who would be poor surgical candidates are taken off-island to larger hospitals that are better equipped to treat them.
• On rare occasions, we will have to do emergent stabilization procedures before a patient can be air-lifted (ex: burr holes for decompression).
• We are typically doing bread and butter cases (ORIFs, Lap Choles/Appes, AV Fistulas/Grafts, C-Sections, Hysterectomies, Ear Tubes, T&As, etc…)

Call once per week with post-call day off.
