Schedule: 7am-5pm dayshift & 5pm-7am CV beeper call, weekdays & weekends
Shifts: 5x10s per week & 24hr regular weekend shift, Saturday 7am – Sunday 7am
Anesthesia Model: 9MD / 16 APP
MD:CRNA Ratio: 1:3. Care team model. Physicians do 99% supervision. Self performing cases is uncommon.
Physicians are expected to be present for Induction and Emergence, participate in post op-care, participate in pre-op evaluation of patient. This is a hands on practice.
Average daily cases – CV = 3 or 4
Case Mix: : Level II Trauma, Ortho, Spine, Vascular, limited Neuro, Endo, EP Lab, No OB. No transplants.
Cardiac Case Load: With TAVRs, mitral clips, CABG, etc, 10-12/week. 40-50/month. EP, watchman = 80/month.
EMR System: Medaxion & Meditech
Active FL License: required
Certifications required: BC & BE, TEE CERT
Flight/Lodging/Rental Car or Mileage: Yes, covered
