Locum CRNA *123994: Northern, Iowa
Practice Setting: Hospital Based and Ambulatory Surgery Center – No pain clinic. Level III trauma center.
Start Date: January 2025
Schedule: OR M-Th 10 hour days, Fri: 5p – Sat 6:30am, Sat: Off, Sun: 6:30am-6:30am, Mon: Off, Tues – Fri – 10 hour days. Otherwise: Sat 6:30a – 6:30a Or Fri 5p – 6:30 am/Sun 6:30 – 6:30
Weekend Call: Must be available to cover 1 weekend per month
Case Mix: OB, General surgery, GI, Bariatric, Uro, Ortho, Neuro, Cardiothoracic, some ENT (most of it is done at the local ASC), some peds.
Background: Must be comfortable with OB/epidurals, some trauma, some spine, simple peds cases, and bread and butter cases to cover call.
Supervision: CRNA will be physician directed the majority of the time.
EMR: Cerner + paper charting
Credentialing: 45-60 days
Active IA License: required
Certifications: BLS and ACLS
COVID Vaccination required
