Level 1 University Hospital . Care Team Model, 4×10 3×12

~Start Date: As Soon As Possible
~3 months with options to extend.
~4×10 / 3x 12-13 hour shifts.
~One rotating Saturday each month; NO CALL!
**ALL TIME OFF REQUESTS must be made upfront**
**ALL Time off Requests exceeding 5 consecutive days, will NOT
be approved during the Summer months.**

Work Details:
~Main OR, Outpatient surgery center, Endoscopy center – option
to practice at any location.
~Ages: 13 – end of life
~Academic training Level 1 trauma center. 600 bed Hospital.
~33 Main OR’s.,
~16 offsite anesthesia locations,
~12 outpatient OR’s, and
~3-4 stand-alone GI center rooms.
Staffing:
~60 CRNA’s.
~70 Attending anesthesiologists.
~60 anesthesia residents.
~ EMR: Epic

Skills Required:
~Place and manage Spinals, A-Lines comfortable titrating
vasoactive medication infusions like norepinephrine,
phenylephrine, nicardipine, etc.
~Will NOT be doing: CV (Hearts/Thoracic), Peds, OB or nerve
blocks
Requirements:
~Board Certification: Required
~Virginia License Required
~Covid and Flu vaccines Required.
~ACLS,BLS
~Minimum 2 years experience required , level 1 or 2 trauma
experience working with ASA 3 + patients would be big bonus.
Credentialing Time Minimum 30 days.
