Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital and UTHSC seek full-time pediatric anesthesiologists and cardiac anesthesiologists.

Successful candidates must be board certified in Pediatric Anesthesiology with an MD or equivalent.

Duties:
• Direct patient care
• Teaching and supervision of nurse anesthetists and residents
• Opportunities for clinical and basic science research

Compensation and Benefits:
• Pediatric anesthesiologist role is 0.95 clinical with 0.05 academic appointments at UTHSC.
• General anesthesiologist guaranteed base compensation: $350,000 annually
• 9% retirement contribution/match

Call Pay:
• $2,000 per night First Call
• $1,000 per night Second Call

Vacation Days:
• 24 PTO/annual leave days per year
• 12 sick leave days per year (if unused, these days count toward service/retirement date)
• 8 paid holidays
• 5 days CME

Additional Information:
• 47 work weeks in a year
• $3,000 CME allowance per year
• 1 day a month academic time (0.05 FTE)
• Each physician covers two to three sites (case dependent) in the operating room and interventional radiology suite, excluding cardiac cases.
• First call is 7 a.m. – 7 a.m. – 24 hours in duration. Physician post day call is off.
• Second call is 3 p.m. – 7 a.m.
