Hospital-Based position – 100% at MBMC

BJC Health System & Missouri Baptist Medical Center, a tertiary care hospital, are looking for a General Anesthesiologist to join their growing, hospital-based practice! Located in the heart of West County, Saint Louis, anesthesiologists at Missouri Baptist cover 23 operating rooms which support the following service lines: general surgery, orthopedic surgery (total joints, spine), neurosurgery (spine, rare craniotomies), vascular surgery, ENT (bread and butter pediatrics once a week) and gynecological surgery. Sites outside the ORs include the cardiac cath lab, a robust GI lab, women’s outpatient center, interventional pulmonology, interventional radiology and MRI imaging. There is no L&D or CTOR coverage required and MBMC is not a trauma center.

-Joining 10+ other anesthesiologists within hospital group
-Adult patient population primarily, rare peds ENT
-Shared call with group; averaging 1 weekend a month & 1 weekday a week
-Workflow is 95% oversight of CRNAs; 5% self-performing cases
