Come join a core of Certified Anesthesiologist Assistants working in a balanced care team model alongside dedicated Anesthesiologists. Madison Anesthesiology Consultants is an independent private practice group practicing exclusively at Meriter Hospital.

Case mix includes a variety of General Surgery, Vascular, Urology, Gynecology, Orthopedics, Podiatry in the operating room and Labor Epidurals and Cesarean Sections on the Obstetric floor. CAA’s regularly place epidurals and spinals while working on the Obstetric floor.

Weekly schedule in the operating room is four 10 hour shifts, 7 AM-5 PM, with reliable relief by Anesthesiologists at 5 PM.

Night call schedule is one sequence of night calls every 6 weeks. Night call sequence involves Friday/Sunday/Tuesday in-house call from 7 PM-7AM leading into five days off.
