-CRNA or AA for a Pediatric Anesthesiology position
-Hospital and Ambulatory Surgery Center
-Hospital employed position; join 13 CRNAs and 15 Anesthesiologists
-B & B pediatric procedures
–Duties of Position: Insert peripheral venous catheters, radial artery catheters or central venous catheters; Perform supervised, safe, and effective techniques during mask ventilation, tracheal intubation, extubation, and mechanical ventilation of the patient. Continuously monitor patients with pulse oximetry, capnograph, EKG, NIBP or arterial line, and temperature sensors, oxygen analyzer, neuromuscular function.
-Position Requirements: Certified Nurse Anesthetist Certification (NBCRNA) or Certified Anesthesiologist Assistants (NCCAA), State of Florida Licensure, active BLS, PALS and ACLS
-Patients age newborn – 18 years old
-Anticipated Daily Patient Volume varies day to day based on hospital surgical log vs ASC schedule
-300+ bed children’s hospital; Level IV (highest acuity care); Level 1 pediatric trauma center (only hospital in south FL with this level trauma); 15,0000+ surgeries annually
