Phoebe Putney Health System is at the center of healthcare for Southwest Georgia and is seeking a board certified or eligible Anesthesiologist. We are a collegial, collaborative 10 physician practice and approximately 35 anesthetists. Our group is hospital employed but with strong autonomy to provide best practice. There is a strong hospital community that is appreciated here. We assist, encourage, and support all of our colleagues. Our goal, collectively, is that we all succeed and grow. We enjoy an outstanding relationship and dialogue with our administration. Our group has had low turnover over many decades and this provides a rare opportunity that does not come up very frequently.

Being a Level 2 Trauma Center, we do a wide-variety of cases with the exception of complicated pediatrics and transplants. We have the opportunity to use most, if not all, of our skill set on a weekly basis. One can easily do several blocks, an arterial line, and a labor epidural in the same day. We medically supervise 95% of the time, usually in a 4:1 model. Case volume overall has increased year after year since 2021.First call average 1:10 day rotation.

Being that we are a very busy practice, we are compensated at a very high level, which I challenge anyone to find a better compensation and retirement W-2 package in the Southeast.

We also have 10 weeks off a year. We operate on a 10 week rotation. You are treated and paid equal from day one. There is a moving allowance, CME allowance, and great hospital benefits.
