Anesthesia Medical Group of Santa Maria is a stable group of physicians, with a high retention rate, who have been at the current hospital/practice for almost 30 years.
The location is in Northern Santa Barbara County near many wineries and excellent restaurants. Most partners live in Southern San Luis Obispo County between Pismo Beach and Nipomo. The area has ample opportunities for hiking with ocean views, mountain biking, surfing, kayaking and both ocean and lake fishing. There are excellent public and private schools available.
The position is currently split between Marian Regional Medical Center and an outpatient surgical center. The Main hospital is a 200+ bed hospital with rapidly expanding service lines owned by Dignity Health. The new state-of-the-art facility opened in 2012 and offers some of the latest technology to the local community. Services provided include all basic surgical services with further specialty in Bariatrics, Cardiac Hybrid Lab and Electrophysiology, Neurosurgery, Obstetrics and Gynecology, General Surgery, ENT, Urology, Orthopedics and recent Level 2 Trauma services. The ideal candidate would also be proficient with ultrasound guided nerve blocks.
