The Department of Anesthesiology at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) in Lubbock is actively recruiting full-time Certified Anesthesiology Assistants (CAAs) to start immediately following successful background check and credentialing, at our University hospital – University Medical Center-Lubbock. This would be an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic expanding medical practice using Anesthesia Care Team model. University Medical Center ( UMC) is a major medical center in West Texas. Our case mix incorporates a wide variety of procedures including general surgical, vascular, cardiac, neurosurgical, gynecology-obstetric, trauma, pediatrics, robotic, endoscopy cases.

The compensation package for this W2 employment position is excellent, providing an annual salary of $281,840.00 – $350k, healthcare coverage, malpractice insurance, 401K matching retirement package, life insurance, long-term disability insurance, and allowances for continuing medical education. Compensation package also includes paid vacation, academic and sick time. Additional income opportunities are available through the department’s incentive program.

The applicant for the position is expected to have:

1. Master’s degree from an accredited AA program
2. Valid certification from the NCCAA certifying body
3. Current BLS and ACLS certification
