A Facility in Rockport, ME is looking for a Physician – Anesthesiology to join their team.

–Day shift: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM, night shift home call: 4:00 PM – 7:00 AM, weekend 24-hour home call
-Night float available for one week at a time if interested
-Call ratio: approximately once every 4 weeks for full-time staff
-Average surgical cases per day: 10-12
-Average pain management cases: 0
-Supervision of CRNAs required, care team model, solo on call
-Trauma Level III
-4 full-time Anesthesiologists in practice
No responsibility for preparing the anesthesia cart
Patient age demographic: 1 year and older
Required procedures: General surgical cases (adult & pediatric), minor nerve blocks, IV regional anesthesia, plexus anesthesia, spinal anesthesia, epidural anesthesia, regional anesthesia, obstetrical cases
-Pain management procedures: acute cases
-Required insertions: central line, arterial line
-Responsible for evaluation and management of acute volume/BP issues
-Submission Requirements

-Weekend Requirements
-Clean Malpractice – PREFERRED
