An OHSU CRNA is a member of the OHSU professional staff and is faculty within the School of Medicine.
Provide anesthesia services in a multitude of areas on an expansive beautiful campus; the main hospital- 26 operating rooms, Center for Health & Healing has two ASC’s on the waterfront – 15 operating rooms, Casey Eye Center- 4 operating rooms, and various other non-operating room areas.

Function and Duties:
– Provide services in accordance with the university’s missions and goals of teaching, research, patient care, outreach and public service.
– Clinical training of learners

Required Qualifications:
– Successful completion of a prescribed curriculum from an accredited school of anesthesia by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA)
– Holds current license in good standing to practice as a CRNA in the state of Oregon
– Maintains appropriate CE credits for CRNA re-certification as defined by the AANA and the COA
– Current BLS and ACLS certification
– Ability to manage high acuity cases
– Ability to communicate effectively
– Knowledge base with electronic medical record
– Regular and consistent attendance at work
– Demonstrates reliability, integrity and honesty
– Possesses the motivation to continuously improve the quality of care and the work environment throughout OHSU and the Hospital
