Kaiser Permanente – Downey is recruiting for full-time partnership track positions. We are centrally located between Los Angeles and Orange County close to LAX airport. Anesthesiologists live in highly desirable locations with excellent school districts accessible to the many amenities southern California has to offer. Our partners live in Hollywood Hills, Bel Air, Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach, Redondo Beach, Seal Beach, Huntington Beach, Newport Beach and South Pasadena.

Our Downey-specific online scheduling allows for work-life optimization, desired level of flexibility, and equitable call schedule. We offer premium pay for evening shifts and overnight shifts. Anesthesiologists never take call alone.

Our case mix includes general surgery, orthopedics, gynecology, plastics, urology, ENT, OB, and healthy pediatrics. No trauma, neuro, or cardiac. Variety of shift opportunities include CRNA supervision and in-room care. Our group covers two sites within 1 mile of each other. Services areas include NORA, PACU, pre-op clinic, and outpatient surgery center in addition to L&D and main OR.

Our practice primarily involves bread and butter anesthesiology but can provide challenging subspecialty cases. We have dedicated teams in pediatric anesthesiology, acute pain, and chronic pain for advanced cases. We partner with UC Irvine and the Kaiser Permanente School of Medicine for additional teaching opportunities.

SCPMG benefits include:

$330,000 Base for 36 hours/Week of clinical work, No nights or weekends. Standard schedule requires 3-4 in-house overnight shifts per month and evening coverage. Standard schedule results in ~$500,000 annual salary.
$150,000 signing bonus, $10,000 moving bonus and retention bonus
