$230/hour CRNA needed in Williamsport, PA for an ongoing locum tenens role. Weekdays only, no nights, weekends, or call.

Schedule:
Shift Hours: Flexible 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts, Monday through Friday.
Availability: Full-time locums needed to cover weekdays, ideally 2-3 weeks per month.
Flexibility: No nights, weekends, or call.
Start Date: August 26, 2024.
Position Type: Hospital-Based Anesthesia Services.

Responsibilities:
Provide anesthesia services for a variety of procedures, including general surgery, neuro, orthopedics, podiatry, ENT (including pediatric ENT), GI/GU, GYN, robotics, EP, c-sections (no epidurals), endoscopy, and Level II trauma cases (no thoracic, hearts, or transplant).
Daily Workflow: First cases start at 7:15 AM or 7:30 AM. Room turnover time ranges from 15–30 minutes depending on the service line. CRNAs handle an average of 3–6 cases per day, with 40–50 total cases across the team under medical direction with a 1:3 or 1:4 ratio.

Facility Highlights:
This Level II trauma center uses Cerner EMR. Support staff includes overnight CRNAs managing airways, codes, and trauma calls.

Requirements:
Board Status: Board Certified.
Certifications: ACLS required.
State Licensure: Active Pennsylvania license required.
Experience: Minimum 1 year preferred. Spinals and arterial lines available but not required.
DEA: Not required.

Compensation:
Rate: $230/hour (no overtime).
Travel Allowances:

Airfare: Economy class with one checked bag.
Lodging: Up to $150 per night.
Mileage: Reimbursed at IRS rates.
Rental Car: Mid-size car (4-wheel drive approved for winter).
